Armenians and Greeks are like peanut butter and jelly, cookies and milk, pilaf and safron. I can’t remember the first time I heard Greek music, but it’s distinct qualities have always remained an intense fascination. I’m particularly attracted to their use of stringed instruments, trills, and scale choices. The music is simply beautiful.
